WTN- When online retailing started in a big way in India seven-eight years back, there was fear that it will ruin the traditional physical market and lead to severe job loss.

This is what a digital marketing expert does. He/she tracks the propensities of net users in a certain population group through various internet tools and also his/her own study, appreciation and perception of the market trends, and accordingly tries to influence people’s buying choices by attracting them to the product he/she is working for by pushing or rather forcing their ads at strategic times and strategic places on the internet.

This is an ethical and legal trick to promote one’s products or services and the more one is smart in capturing eyeballs and influencing buyer decisions, the better that company has chances to be able to sell its product/s. India is that its internet usage and internet penetration is still nascent and is bound to grow exponentially in the near future, leading to a spike in the demand for marketing experts.
