Governor Anandiben Patel evokes for doctors, says do work for social welfare and public service
DEC 08 (WTN) - The award ceremony of the meritorious students of the Peoples' University and the annual function Disha-2018 concludes with a grand and humble presentation with the message of women empowerment and devotion. The Chief Guest of the program, organized in the auditorium of Peoples' University, was the Governor of Madhya Pradesh, Her Excellency Mrs. Anandiben Patel.
Dr. Akhilesh Pandey, Chairman of Madhya Pradesh Private University Regulatory Commission, Megha Vijayvargiya, Director of People's Group, Dr. Rajesh Kapoor, Vice Chancellor of People's University and Dr. Neerja Malik, Registrar of the University were present in the program.
Addressing to the students in her speech, Her Excellency Mrs. Anandiben Patel said that doctors should come forward for public interest and make important contributions to the service of society rather than making money. While emphasizing the education of girls, the governor said that society is created by an educated girl and it is very important to teach daughters to it. Referring to the equality of women, the Governor said that it is very important to pay attention to women's health. During this, Governor Patel complimented the People's Hospital for providing affordable treatment facilities for the patients.
Addressing the program, People's University Vice Chancellor Dr Rajesh Kapoor said that the aim of the People's University is to provide health services at accessible and low cost in the society. Kapoor said that in the last few years, nearly 35 lakh patients have been provided better health facilities at a lower cost by People's Hospital in the past, and in the coming days People's Hospital and University organized a campaign against Anemia and TB in Bhopal, so everyone will get the benefit of that.

Sweta Singh from International MBA, Aman Khan from MBA, Lachi Purohit from BBA and Akshay Purohit from BCom.
Harshicha Tripathi, student of B.pharma from SOPR. Sonia Chokal, student of PIMH BBA (MHA). P. Amrita Rao, student of BHMCT. The student of SORT Diploma (CSE), Anchal Kushwah and from, M.Tech (Civil), Naushaba Bano. NCC student Abhinav Yadav was given prize by the Governor for representing India by visiting youth exchange program in Singapore.
At the People's University prize distribution ceremony, the students pleased everyone by giving spectacular performances. The colorful program started with Ganesh Vandana, after which the rage of women power was presented by the ballet on the increasing rape cases against girl child. The dance drama of Draupadi Chirhanar was also presented in the program, in which the pain of the woman was best expressed. After this, the motherland was remembered with patriotism drama and songs.
At the end of the program, Dr. Neerja Malik, Registrar of the University expressed gratitude to the Governer Anandiben Patel, Chairman of Madhya Pradesh Private University Regulatory Commission, Dr. Akhilesh Pandey, guests, faculties, employees and students of the University. -Window To News
