Should you do morning or evening workouts for weight loss?

WTN- Morning vs Evening workouts has always been matter of curiosity among people who hit gym. Both morning and evening workouts have its  own benefit.  While  choosing what time in the day you are going to work out is going to depend on your fitness goals and lifestyle.

Benefits of working out in the morning -  The biggest benefit of working out in the morning is that you have completed the task of fitness for the day . As you get older and you have a job and you have all these other responsibilities , and you may not be having the energy,  the willpower nor the desire to work out at evening/night. At the end of the day, it makes a lot of these people skip their workout with an excuse like I am really tired today and will go to gym tomorrow. Then tomorrow comes and it is the same thing all over again.

Some experts claim that people that work out first thing in the morning tend to be more consistent with their workouts and they tend to work out more often than people that work out later in the day.

The other benefit of getting a workout in first thing in the morning especially if you have a job,  is that it sets up the rest of your day very well. Don’t think that working out in morning before going to work would make you tired at work but in reality it boosts energy levels, your attitude and your overall emotional state especially because after workout, one will have a good breakfast also.

Another benefit of working out in the morning is that it helps you to sleep better at night. When we compare the same with evening or night workout, the evening or night workout make a human body in a more active state interfering with sleep. Although, it may not be the same for some, but in majority cases it is that way especially with people who take caffeine or some pre-workout drink before the workouts in evening/night.

Morning workout is usually done in a fasted state. In fasting state, body tends to burn fat faster. So people who look towards weight loss goal, morning workout give them an advantage.

Morning or evening, is highly up to individual preference. Most important fact is that one has to be consistent in workout to achieve the fitness goal.
