WTN- Fat loss and weight loss is one the most preferred lifestyle preference these days. Lot of people follow some type of diet be it Ketogenic or Carb-cycling or OMAD (One meal a day) or some other. Intermittent fasting is one of the most popular forms of eating pattern. Intermittent fasting or popularly called IF is an eating pattern where you eat within a specific time period, and fast the rest of the time mostly the eating window is within 8 hour bracket and fasting window is 16 hours. Experts feel that the benefits of intermittent fasting include: weight loss, protection against chronic disease, improved brain function, and increased longevity.

Its well accepted that Intermittent fasting is mostly used by people to loose weight. Some of you may still complain that even after Intermittent fasting the weight is not reducing. Here are some mistakes the people do and that is why not get the results-

Results of Intermittent fasting will take its time. It’s not a magic die plan or lifestyle changes that will yield results overnight.

Most people think that they can do binge eating  in eating bracket of 8 hours. Eating junk like pasta, pasties, burgers etc will never give desired results.

The concept of calorie in – calories out still holds. Eating window of 8 hours does not mean that one can eat as much as they can. The total calories are to be below maintenance calories to yield results of fat loss.

Some people in over enthusiasm also cut carbs in Intermittent fasting. It results loss of energy, lesser activity and eventually inactive days. Which makes metabolism low and lesser burning of calories.

Best way to get results out of Intermittent fasting is to patient, adjust calorie intake and keep the body active.
