Buddhist Circuit Tourist Train of India

Buddhist Circuit Tourist Train is a special tourist train by Indian Railways for visiting various places of importance for Buddhism. Pilgrimage Destinations for Buddhist tourists have been carefully selected by Indian Railways. The train takes tourists on an 8-day journey where tourists get to learn the teachings of Buddhism. Everything that this religion embraces is felt up close to provide an enriching experience.

On this destination trip, they travel to both India and Nepal where Buddhism took roots and thrived.
Everything from their monasteries, the facilities they had and the code of conduct they adhered to is there in these places. Upon completing this journey, we guarantee that you will emerge out more calm, optimistic and understanding of both humanity and mother nature.

Key Pilgrimage Destinations-

DAY 1 -Departure Delhi (Delhi Safdarjung Station in the afternoon) for Gaya.

DAY 2 -Arrive Gaya in the morning. Visit Bodhgaya. Over night stay at the hotel

DAY 3 -Visit Rajgir & Nalanda. Departure for Varanasi in the evening

DAY 4 -Arrive Varanasi in the morning. Visit Sarnath. Visit the Ganges for the evening Aarti. Departure for Gorakhpur in the evening.

DAY 5 -Arrive at Gorakhpur Railway Station. Breakfast en route (Gorakhpur) and proceed to Lumbini (Nepal) by bus

DAY 6 -Proceed to Kushinagar for sightseeing visit Mahaparinirvan Temple, Rambhar Stupa, Mata Kutir Temple etc.

DAY 7 -Arrive Gonda in the morning. Visit Sravasti. Departure Gonda for Agra in the evening.

DAY 8 -Arrive Agra in the morning. Visit Taj Mahal. Departure for Delhi in the afternoon. Arrive Delhi (Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station) in the evening
