Ration to be distributed through Samagra ID to consumers till January 12

Bhopal: In order to solve problems being faced in ration distribution through biometric system, the State Government has given instructions to all the 15 thousand 389 shop operators to distribute ration through POS machines and Samagra till January 12, 2019. This alternate arrangement has been made because of server problem. Order in this regard has been issued by the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department.

Director Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Shriman Shukla has informed that ration at low price is being made available to One crore 17 lakh eligible families through 24 thousand 170 ration shops of the state. Out of this, food grains are being distributed by biometric system on POS machines through UIDM mode by 15 thousand 398 ration shops. Currently, complaints are being received in ration distribution because of SRDH server is down. Instructions have been issued to ensure arrangements for ration distribution by matching Samagra ID by these shops till January 12, 2019. Ration is being distributed in 8781 remaining shops on the basis of Samagra ID since earlier.-Window To News
