Provision of Rs. 100 Crore to solve salary problem of Home Guards and SDERF employees

Home and Jail Minister Bachchan at Home Guards’ Convention 

Bhopal: Minister for Home and Jail Bala Bachchan informed that budget provision of Rs. 100 crore has been made in the second supplementary budget to solve problem being faced by the employees of Home Guards and SDERF in getting salary since the last two months. He further mentioned that keeping in view the need, provision of surplus amount will be made in the main budget in future. Bachchan was addressing the Sainik Sammelan of Home Guards and SDERF here today.

Bachchan stated that remarkable services have been given by the Home Guards and SEDRF in the state and other states. They have saved lives by putting their life in danger. He appreciated Jawans of the Home Guards and SDERF for providing excellent services. Bachchan mentioned that they should always do result oriented work. The State Government will make special efforts for their welfare, he added.

Principal Secretary, Home, Malay Shrivastava said that these Jawans of Home Guards and SDERF have rendered their services in adverse conditions, whenever it was needed by the state. Their work is praiseworthy. Director General of Home Guards Mahan Sagar mentioned that regular training always prove useful.

Minister Bachchan presented appreciation letters to the Jawans who have rendered remarkable services during the catastrophe. He obtained information about the equipments displayed at the exhibition organized at the programme site. At the beginning, Bachchan also reviewed activities of the department through presentation at the Camp Office. Additional Director Generals, Manish Shankar Sharma and Rajesh Chawla were present on this occasion.-Window To News
