JAN 12 (WTN) - When you book tickets from IRCTC, there is also an option of premium tatkal on booking. For your information, let you know that Indian Railways had also introduced the new premium tatkal quota along with the dynamic fare. When you book tickets from the IRCTC website, you also see the premium tatkal option in some trains, so that you can book a ticket as soon as possible as you book in tatkal.

As soon as the booking is done in the related train under the premium tatkal quota, the rent increases as well. If you want to book a ticket for premium tatkal, then booking starts at 10 am every morning.

Indian Railway travelers can get the reservation in the premium tatkal so the Railways has kept the reservation period of both, tatkal and premium tatkal the same, and has made such a rule that agents can’t book tickets by this quote. There is no booking of RAC or waiting ticket in the premium tatkal quota. Along with this, I-tickets are also not booked. Let you know that there is no concession in premium tatkal quota and there is full ticket for children as well.

Throughout IRCTC, all the rules for booking of tatkal quota are also applicable to premium tatkal quota. After complaining of the passengers, the Indian Railways has eliminated the dynamic fair scheme in 47 trains which will be effective from March 15, 2019. In it, it has been completely ended in 15 trains and partly in 32 trains.

According to the new rules of premium tatkal quota, the trains which are charged in flexi fair will be charged up to 1.4 times the base price for the ticket. Railways had introduced flexi scheme for 44 Rajdhani trains, 52 of Duronto and 46 premium trains of Shatabdi Express. As the booking goes on, the rent increases as well.

Under flexi fair, the fare for passengers increases by 10 per cent after booking every 10 per cent of the seats. Third AC fare increases by 140 per cent in dynamic fare. For your information, let you know that the maximum premium tatkal fare is 30% of the basic fare or 400 rupees, whichever is higher.
