Over 10 lakh small businessmen of state to be benefitted
Bhopal: In order to provide conducive environment to small businessmen and shopkeepers of the state, the State Government has taken a decision to abolish compulsion of renewal in Gumashta Law under the ‘Ease of Doing Business’. This decision will fulfill the long pending demand of small shopkeepers and traders.
Under the provisions of the Shop and Establishment Act, small shopkeepers, establishments and start-ups are not required to get their shops’ licenses renewed now. An order in connection to the abolishment of compulsion of renewal has been issued by the Labour Department today.
As a result of this decision, over 10 lakh small shopkeepers, establishments, traders and start-ups of the state will be benefitted. According to the new arrangement shopkeepers and establishments are required to get themselves online registered once during their business period. After the registration, in case of any change in the form of business, small shopkeepers and traders are required to get amendments in their registration.
Along with this different categories of registration have been abolished and has been limited to just two categories.-Window To News
