Knowledge of moral values must with education: Governor Patel

Concrete efforts are being made for Women Empowerment-Minister Sharma 

Bhopal: The Governor Anandiben Patel has said that children are future of country; they must be provided knowledge of culture and moral values of life along with the education. She further stated that positive thinking, generous heart and good character are essential for cultured society. Patel was addressing the Annual Function of the Satyasai Women College today. The Minister for Public Relations, Science and Technology and Law and Legislative Affairs P.C. Sharma was also present on the occasion.

The Governor Patel mentioned that India is a soil of great personalities and Rishis-Munis. Mentioning about various occasions when she was blessed by Satyasai Baba, she said that the Baba has proved from his works that works done with strong will power and with the motto of service always get success. She told the students that whatever they will give to the nature, they will receive double from it.

Minister P.C. Sharma said that the state government is making concrete efforts for women empowerment. Women are being encouraged to progress in every field. He informed that a financial assistance of Rs. 51 thousand is being given for their marriage without discrimination of income, caste and religion. In order to generate employment, a conducive atmosphere for investment is being created and basic facilities are being made in the state. He further said that work to connect Bhopal with direct flights to other major cities is being carried out speedily. Direct flight from Hyderabad has already been started.

The Governor gave 366 books out of the books received by her on her birthday to needy children and schools during the programme. She also presented prizes to the students on the occasion.-Window To News
