The SP and the BSP come ‘together’ in Madhya Pradesh to confront the BJP and the Congress

FEB 11 (WTN) - Congress including BSP and Samajwadi Party know that in the Lok Sabha elections, they are not in a position to defeat Narendra Modi at this time. As you know, anti-BJP parties, like the BSP and the Samajwadi Party have formed the alliance with the 38-38 seats to stop the BJP in the largest state of UP according to the seats in the Lok Sabha. Now after UP, both the parties, in Madhya Pradesh, are going to combine for the Lok Sabha elections to confront the BJP.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the BSP which could not win a single seat and the SP which was decreased up to five seats only, now both the parties have now formed the alliance in the Madhya Pradesh assembly after Uttar Pradesh to tackle Modi wave. According to the information, in all the 29 seats of Madhya Pradesh, these two parties will contest in the alliance. Of the 29 Lok Sabha seats in Madhya Pradesh, the Samajwadi Party will contest on three seats and BSP will contest on 26 seats.

According to the information, the decision of the BSP-SP combine in Madhya Pradesh has been taken by the top leadership of both the parties. The Samajwadi Party will field its candidates in Tikamgarh, Khajuraho and Balaghat seats, while the BSP will contest its candidates on the remaining 26 seats. According to the information, the BSP has given ticket to former MP Ram Lakhan Singh Kushwaha from Morana Lok Sabha seat.

For your information, let you know that both the BSP and SP have good support in the districts engaged with the UP border in Madhya Pradesh. From time to time, both the parties have been winning some seats in the assembly elections. In the last assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, the BSP had won two seats and SP could win one seat, and at present the Kamal Nath government has the vote of confidence on the support of BSP and SP legislators.

If history is looked into, between the Congress and the BJP in the Madhya Pradesh, there has always been a direct fight in the Lok Sabha elections. In a few Lok Sabha elections, the BSP and SP have managed to win one or two seats, but no major fight has been given to the Congress and the BJP by the SP and the BSP. Talking about the last Lok Sabha elections, both SP and BSP had to face defeat badly in the Madhya Pradesh.

But before this Lok Sabha election, both the parties had contested differently in the elections, but this time both the parties are going to contest in the elections together. It may be said that the anti-BJP and anti-Congress votes are going to be united in the form of the SP-BSP alliance, some of which can damage the BJP and the Congress both. It is necessary to see how much loss the BJP and the Congress may have to bear from the SP-BSP alliance, or it may be possible that this coalition can not show any particular impact.
