Make plan to provide jobs through small industries: Minister Arif Aqueel

State-level Small Industries Promotion Board meeting concludes 

Bhopal: Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Arif Aqueel has told to make plan to provide employment through small scale industries and add unemployed youth to it. The Minister was presiding over a meeting of the State-level Small Industries Promotion Board. Aqueel emphasized the need for speedy action on the points of the manifesto as early as possible.

Aqueel instructed the entrepreneurs to get opinion from the Law Department to provide relief from the difficulties faced in the criminal courts.  Aqueel told the industries to send a proposal to the Finance Department on behalf of the department in connection with giving a discount of electricity duty on the H.T. connection. There was a discussion on the need to reconsider the licensing fees imposed on MSME units in the Factory Act during the meeting. Aqueel instructed to rationalise the process.

During the meeting discussion was also held on reconsideration of the policy of property fee and renewal fee being taken from industrial units, condition of requirement of Gumashta license for micro and cottage entrepreneurs and the property tax imposed on the entire plot allotted to the industrial units by the different associations by the municipalities/municipal corporations.-Window To News
