Search your name in the voting list in the Election Commission's website

MAR 13 (WTN) – The dates of Lok Sabha election in India, the world's largest democracy, have been announced. Polling for 543 seats will be held in seven phases. The voting of the first phase will be on April 11, while the last phase of voting will be held on May 19 and the results will be on May 23.



Here, for the Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has requested the people of the country for huge voting. In one of his blocks, Prime Minister Modi has written; register your name in the voter list for Lok Sabha elections. If your name is in voter list then check it well. By looking at the date of voting decide your program after well thinking and motivate others to vote.



Prime Minister Modi has appealed to the people of the country to use their voting right and first check whether their name is in the electoral roll or not. This is because to vote in the election, voters’ name should be in the voting list. After being named in the electoral roll, the EC issues the voter ID card to the voter. If you want to know whether your name is in the voter list or not, then we tell you how you can know it.



To know your name in the electoral roll, first you have to visit the Election Commission's National Voter Service Portal- https://www.nvsp.in/. After visit to here you can check your name in the voter list in two ways. One way is that if you do not have an EPIC number then you have to fill in all your information sought in it and the other is that you can know by filling your electoral photo ID card i.e. EPIC number in whether your name is in the voter list or not.



If you have an EPIC number then you will have to visit the NVSP electoral page and you can search your name in the electoral roll from your EPIC number. For this you must first enter your EPIC number, after which you have to choose the state in which you live. After completing this procedure, you have to insert the code in the captcha. After entering the captcha code, you have to click on the search. If your name is in the voting list, then your full information will be there.



But if you do not have an EPIC number there then you will need to log on to NVSP's search page to view your name in the voter list. After this you will have to fill in all the information sought and then search. If your name is not in the voting list, then we appeal to you that you should register your name in the voter list as soon as possible and feel proud of voting in the Lok Sabha elections.
