Excessive use of mobile and Wi-Fi may cause higher chances of brain tumor

Bhopal Apr 6 2019 (WTN): On the third day of 11th Neuro Oncology Conference ISNOCON 2019, brain tumor experts once again churned about this serious disease. In this modern and sci-tech era we should have also tend our focus on the discussions regarding the prevention of radiation emanating from the mobile tower and use of the 24-hour WiFi facility in the house which could be dangerous and cause possibility of having a brain tumor.
Neurosurgeon of KEN hospital Mumbai Dr Dattatraya Majumdar, participating in the ISNOCON 2019 organized in Bhopal, told that excessive use of mobile may be fatal and could be a cause of brain tumor. He advised to minimize the use of mobile in our daily routine.
He suggested using headphones in conversation instead of the direct use of the mobile rather than Bluetooth devices which equally cause hazardous results on our health. Dr. Majumdar also suggests to minimize the use of home based Wi Fi for 12 hours instead of 24 hours. He said that we should place our wi fi device far from our bedroom or the place where we spends our maximum time. He also advised to put away our mobile phone during sleeping time.
Germ cells are responsible for brain tumor in child
Dr. Dattatraya Majumdar, told that the tumors found in children are called germ cell tumors. When germ cells reach the brain during pregnancy, then they make tumors in brain. Dr Majumdar said that the discussion on brain tumor found in children held in the conference today. Including this the Discussion on the landmark research papers published on neuro oncology research was also held in today’s conference.
Doctor Kutecha and Dr. Majumdar of Mumbai jointly told that there is not much focus on research and development in India. While there is a great focus on research and development in medical science in the US and other developed countries. The government also helps in this. It is one of the major reasons for preventing the progress of serious illness in India and not getting any concrete results.
Dr Rupesh Kotecha, Radiation Oncologist in Miami American Cancer USA highlighted the methods of treatment with advanced techniques of radiation therapy. Dr. Rupesh said that after various levels of identifications we identifies cells effected with tumor and normal healthy cells so that only targeted tumors cells get the effect of radiation without affecting this radiation on other healthy cells. But this treatment is currently quite expensive but its cost will decrease in the future.- Window To News
