Dr. Ambedkar always favored social harmony, he was not a leader of any specific community - Dilip Singh

Bhopal, 15 Apr (WTN)- Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya (IGRMS) Bhopal celebrated 128th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar. On this occasion, Dilip Singh, Joint Director & Head of Office along with all staff of IGRMS put flower petals on the portrait of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar.

Later on, staff of IGRMS expressed their views on the immense contributions of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar. Dilip Singh, while expressing his views, commends the work contribution of Ambedkar and said that yesterday, 192 countries celebrated the Birth Anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, which was a record in itself, he further said that it is our mistake to have a view for Dr. Ambedkar, as he is working for the welfare of a particular community, although he always stressed on the social equality and overall development of the society. 

He also said that the right to vote and chose leader of our choice is only possible because of Dr. Ambedkar efforts, which earlier was limited to only few people. The programme was coordinated by Dr. P. Shankar Rao, Assistant Keeper, IGRMS Bhopal.

Cleanliness Fortnight 2019 starts

Cleanliness Fortnight is being commences at Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya from April 16 to 30 under which swachhta oath, special cleanliness program, poster-painting competition for School students on Museum and tourism, Speech Competition for Museum Staff on Cleanness, Museum and Tourism, special lectures, poster-painting exhibition, prize distribution etc programmes will be organized. Also during this Pakhawada, the Heritage Walk will also be organized on the occasion of World Heritage Day and 1st prize- Rs. 1000/-, 2nd prize- Rs. 700/-, 3rd prize- Rs. 500/-, consolation prize - Rs. 300/- and certificates will be distributed to all the winning participants at the end of the fortnight. – Window To News
