MP State Hockey Academy men’s Under-16 team departs to Netherlands for Holland Elite Hockey Tournament

Bhopal: April 15, 2019: Players of Madhya Pradesh State Hockey Men's Academy has departs to the Netherlands on international exposure to provide high level training and exposure. Director Sports and Youth Welfare Dr. S.L. Thaosen reached the Major Dhyan Chand Hockey Stadium and given necessary guidance to the players prior to the departure of the 18-member Under-16 men’s team of the Hockey Academy. While his oration he said that disciple is very necessary part for players during their training, he further said that success is oblivious with our confidence and hard work. He also delivered his best wishes to all the team members for upcoming Holland Elite Hockey Tournament in Netherlands.

Team of Madhya Pradesh State Men's Hockey Academy U-16 will depart to Netherlands from New Delhi on Tuesday to participate in Holland Elite Training cum Tournaments held in the Netherlands from 16 to 25 April 2019. In the tournament Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy team will compete with the teams of countries like USA, Canada, Netherlands, England, and Belgium. Hockey Instructor Lokendra Sharma and Manager &  Physio Dr. Jins Thomas has also gone with the team.

MP Men’s Hockey Academy trained several star players

Started in 2007, MP Men's Hockey Academy constantly has achieved several national and international level milestones. Academy players Nilakanta Sharma, Arman Qureshi and Vivek Sagar have honored the country and the made us proud by representing the Indian team.

 Five players from the academy are getting training in Junior India Camp running in Bangalore these days. For the preparations of selection in the Indian team. Among of the 33 players from the country taking training 5 palyers of academy have been selected for the India camp. – Window To News
