Every attempt of China failed, the policy of pressure of the Government of India gets on the issue of Masood Azhar

MAY 03 (WTN) - After being declared a global terrorist, Masood Azhar, master mind of Pulwama terror attack; the question is arising, why China finally showed softness on this issue and why China finally supported India on the issue of Masood Azhar? So the answer has been found. It is said that this success of India was achieved due to China's withdrawal of 'technical stop' from the proposal, which was introduced to the United States, the UK and France in the UN after the Pulwama attack. At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's diplomacy and willpower worked out.

For your information, let you know that to consider Masood as a global terrorist on the various aspects of this proposal, China had put a ‘technical stop’ over while referring to the need for extra time. But China withdrew this technical ban on May 1. After this, the question has raises, why did Pakistan's friend China, who stopped India's attempt many times before that, has agreed this time?

First of all in this case, international pressure forced to do this to China. For your information, let you know that in the case of Masood Azhar, many members of the Security Council had already cleared that if China does not remove the ban after the end of April, then a new proposal would be brought in and there would be an open debate on Masood Azhar matter. The members of the Security Council had said clearly that in this matter, there would be debate among all the member countries and the decision would be taken by the majority.

It is clear that if this would have done in the Security Council, then China had to face embarrassment before everyone that China was supporting terrorists and terrorism. In this case, China would have been alone because 14 of the 15 councilors were in favor of declaring Masood Azhar a global terrorist.

But apart from all this, the whole issue also includes the will power and the diplomacy of the Modi Government. According to the sources, China had proposed a proposal to India to remove 'technical stoppage' from the proposal to declare Masood Azhar, the leader of the Jaish-e-Mohammed, a global terrorist. It was said in the resolution that India would not attack on Pakistan, and after the Pulwama attack, India will try to remove the situation of tension between the two countries.

But Narendra Modi, who is known for his strong will power, rejected the China’s proposal. China had been pressuring India to start negotiations with Pakistan since the beginning, but its pressure did not get success and India refused to accept any kind of talk till the terrorist activities will be continued.

In the case of Masood Azhar, the Modi Government had adopted zero tolerance policy against terror and terrorists. The Government had cleaned it that India will not compromise on the issue of terrorism. Although, the UN statement does not mention the Pulwama attack so the questions are arising as to whether India has interacted with China in this matter, due to which China agreed to withdraw technical stoppage on Masood Azhar's case?

But the Ministry of External Affairs has clarified that no inter-state dialogue has been done with China in this matter. The motive of the Indian Government was to declare Masood Azhar a global terrorist, and the Indian Government would not talk to any country on the issue of terrorism and national security.

According to the Indian Government, declaring Masood Azhar as a global terrorist is not based on any particular incident. The ban on Masood Azhar has been imposed on the basis of evidence which was presented to the United Nations 1267 Al-Qaeda Ban Committee on the relationship of Masood to the terrorism. In the notification of the United Nations, it has been stated clearly that Masood has been included in the list of prohibited militants to collect financial resources along with the conspiracy of terrorist activities related to Jaish-e-Mohammed and all terrorist incidents are involved in it.

That is to say that due to the pressure of the other countries of the Security Council, as well as the will power of the Government of India and the diplomacy of the Modi Government, China had to be overturned its previous stand on Masood Azhar. The Modi Government, after the Pulwama terror attack, had clearly stated that India would not come under any pressure, and any options which are open to tackle terror should be implemented.
