Bhopal, May 15 (WTN): Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya will focus on the new roles of museums as active actors in their communities in this series IGRMS organizing a special Lecture will be delivered by Dr. Keisham Sobita Devi (Director Art & Culture and Former Chairperson of Manipur State Commission for Women, Govt. of Manipur) on the occasion of International Museum Day on 18th May 2019.



The International Council of Museums (ICOM) established International Museum Day in 1977 to increase public awareness of the role of museums in the development of society, and it has been steadily gaining momentum ever since.
