Aadhaar Card is needed in government works these days. Under the Direct Benefit Scheme, the money is being deposited directly in the bank accounts through Aadhaar numbers. It is also very important to link the Aadhaar Card with PAN card for filling income tax returns. In this case, you should be conscious that your Aadhaar number is active or not?

You can check the status of your Aadhaar Card in a very easy way whether it is active or not? To find the status of your Aadhaar number, first you have to go to the UIDAI website, uidai.gov.in. If your Aadhaar number has been deactivated, then you can activate it again. To activate the Aadhaar number again, you will have to go to the Aadhaar Enrollment Center with all your necessary documents. By going to the center, you will have to submit an Aadhaar update form there. After filling the update form, once again your biometric verification will be done. Only after completing this process, your Aadhaar number will be activated.
