The ‘biggest challenge’ before Sonia Gandhi!

The Big Question: Will Sonia Gandhi be able to unite BJD, TRS and YSR Congress against Narendra Modi?

MAY 16 (WTN) – India, which is the world's largest democracy, here everyone remains focused on the results of the Lok Sabha Elections being held. After the results to be announced on May 23, the country's political condition and direction are going to be changed. There is a debate in the country whether the Modi Government will come back again or not? But amid all these, UPA President Sonia Gandhi has once again been active. The reason for Sonia Gandhi’s being active is to hinder Narendra Modi from becoming the Prime Minister again.

For your information, let you know that before the final phase of the Lok Sabha Elections, the UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi has begun to unite the opposition parties.  According to information from the sources, Sonia Gandhi has tried to unite the leaders of the opposition parties by phone call. Sonia Gandhi has indirectly urged opposition leaders to remain in Delhi on 22, 23 and 24 May.

There is a clear motivation behind this exercise of UPA chairperson is to prevent Narendra Modi from becoming the Prime Minister, and Sonia Gandhi has come forward to unite opposition leaders for this. In fact, Sonia Gandhi wants to convey to the leaders of the opposition parties that all the opposition parties could not contest together against the NDA in the Lok Sabha Elections, but the political battle of all the political parties was against the Modi Government everywhere. Sonia Gandhi, by uniting the opposition leaders, wants to give a message that to keep Modi away from the PM post, now everyone needs to be united.

It is being said that in the situation of NDA not getting the majority, Sonia Gandhi can appeal to all opposition parties to be united so that Narendra Modi can be stopped from becoming the Prime Minister. But Sonia Gandhi has to face difficulty to unite to three regional parties like BJD, TRS and YSR Congress to join the anti Modi group.

Obviously, if the NDA does not get the majority, then the BJP, to form the government, can try to get support from regional parties like BJD, YSR Congress and TRS.  In such a situation, Sonia Gandhi's biggest problem is that how can these three parties be kept in the anti Modi camp?

If we talk about the opposition parties, then the remaining parties can join the anti-Modi alliance except the parties BJD, YSR Congress and TRS. For your information, let you know that both the BJD and the TRS have been the part of NDA at one time. At the same time, the YSR Congress Party may not join the Congress camp due to its old ideological battle. If the NDA does not get the majority, then Modi, by taking support of all three parties, can again form the government.

For your information, let you know that in there are 21 Lok Sabha seats in Odisha, 25 in Andhra Pradesh and 17 seats in Telangana. A total of 63 MPs from all these three states are elected to the Lok Sabha. In this Lok Sabha election, BJD in Odisha, TRS in Telangana and YSR Congress in Andhra Pradesh are contesting alone. Political analysts believe that these three parties will win most seats in these states, and the leaders of these three parties will be seen in the role of a King Maker. In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, BJD won 20, TRS 11 and YSR Congress 9 seats. That is, these three parties had won 40 of the 63 Lok Sabha seats.

In such a situation, Sonia Gandhi knows that if few seats remain short, so Modi and Shah can take support from BJD, YSR Congress and TRS, by promising a good package from Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana respectively. In such a scenario, now it's important to see what will Sonia Gandhi do to unite these parties together?

Looking at all these future possibilities, Sonia Gandhi has sharpened the drill to unify opposition leaders. Sonia Gandhi knows that there is only one way to stop Narendra Modi from becoming the Prime Minister, and that is the way to unite the entire opposition. But the challenge before Sonia Gandhi is how to include BJD, TRS and YSR Congress in anti-Modi camp? Now let's see if Sonia Gandhi can succeed in this campaign or not?
