EVM 'passed' in every exam in the Lok Sabha Elections!

100 per cent accuracy in EVMs and VVPAT's matching

MAY 26 (WTN) - The opposition parties have put fingers on EVMs in India for a long time. Prior to every election, the opposition parties continue to question on the credibility of EVMs. n this Lok Sabha Election, even before the counting of votes, opposition parties raised various questions on EVM's credibility. Even in the Election Commission and the Supreme Court, opposition parties demanded to let the elections be done from the ballot paper this time, but the Supreme Court and the Election Commission rejected every demand and objection of the opposition parties.

Not only EVMs, opposition parties filed objections in matching VVPAT slips also. First time opposition parties demanded that all VVPAT slips be matched with EVMs, but other time they had demanded that if the 100 per cent matching of EVM and VVPT is not possible, then at least 50 per cent VVPAT should be matched with EVMs. The demand of opposition parties was rejected by the Election Commission and the Supreme Court. But after this, the Supreme Court has directed that any 5 VVPATs of every assembly constituency selected from each parliamentary constituency should be matched with respective EVMs.

Clearly, the opposition parties did not believe in EVM and VVPAT. But after the results of the Lok Sabha Elections, it has become clear that the opposition of EVM and VVPAT by the opposition parties was unbounded. Yes, according to the Election Commission, the matching of EVMs and VVPAT slips has turned out to be absolutely correct in the Lok Sabha Elections, and the possibility of any kind of disturbances in the EVM has been proved wrong.

According to the information, as per the Chief Electoral Officers of all the states, all 20,625 VVPATs were matched with the EVM, and there is no any news of the mismatch received. That is, when there was matching of the randomly selective VVPATs and EVM happened in 542 Lok Sabha seats, all matches are correct. For your information, let you know that the VVPAT system was started for the year 2013-14 for accurate information and records of votes recorded in the EVM.

In the world's largest democracy India, 90 million voters had to elect a new government by the 2019 Lok Sabha Election. For this largest election, the Election Commission used a total of 22.3 lakh ballet units, 16.3 lakh control units and 17.3 lakh VVPAT. This time, in the Lok Sabha Elections, 20,625 VVPATs of 17.3 lakh VVPATs were matched with EVMs. When VVPATs were matched with EVMs, all the matches were 100 per cent correct.

100 per cent correct matching of EVMs and VVPATs during the counting, it is clear that opposition parties had no reason to suspect EVMs and VVPATs. Indeed, in the face of possible defeat, opposition parties continue to question EVMs and VVPATs. The Congress had won in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh assembly elections in December last year, but then the opposition including the Congress did not raise any question on the EVM.

Now that EVMs and VVPATs matching have been found 100 per cent correct, it is necessary to see how the opposition parties react to this. Since many former Election Commissioners to many IAS and IPS officers have said that EVM can’t be hacked, but even after this, opposition parties are not convinced on the EVM. It should be expected that the opposition party will stop doubting on EVM's credentials after the 100% accurate marching of 20,625 VVPAT in the Lok Sabha Elections.
