Modi Government's 'master plan' for ensuring 24-hour electricity in the country

JUNE 05 (WTN) - Following a massive victory in the Lok Sabha Elections, Modi Government is working on providing 24-hour electricity to the people of the country in the coming five years. The Central Government does not want to be trusted State Governments for implementing this ambitious plan. According to information received from the media, the Modi Government is planning to make a power distribution company at the central level to provide 24-hour electricity across the country.

Indeed, the planning of the Modi Government is to maintain the pace of development in the country, therefore there should be availability of 24-hour electricity throughout the country for this. To ensure the availability of electricity, the Central Government has a plan to create a company. Well, this plan has been discussed in the first tenure of the Modi Government, but Modi Government is working fast to implement this scheme in Part II. For your information, let you know that the Central Government has a plan to make a joint venture company with NTPC, Power Grid and PFC, which will be responsible for 24-hour power supply.

In order to land the ambitious scheme, the Ministry of Power has floated a detailed report from all the power companies. It is being said that this company will also be signed with the states. The government has a plan to ensure that where power is stolen and where there are in deficit areas, electricity will be provided so that no one will be deprived of the availability of electricity. For your information, let you know that the power distribution companies do not provide electricity at such places because they are afraid of deficit for power theft and other reasons. It is being said that when the power distribution companies of the states agree with the Central Company, their loss will be reduced.

The public has enough expectations from the NDA Government, led by the BJP, which has won more than 300 seats. For this reason, Modi Government Part two has created a 100-day agenda for the power sector. The Government intends that 24 hours of electricity availability should be ensured throughout the country. But the Center can face many difficulties in this scheme. First of all, there is a need to improve the power sector. At the same time, for the payment of arrears of thermal power plants, an action plan has to be made so that their dues are completed.

At the same time, in order to improve the financial condition of the power distribution companies, it has to work on the action plan. It is being said that under the scheme, the deadline to reduce the losses of power distribution companies by 15 per cent will be decided under this scheme. The work plan of Uday Scheme-2 is also underway to improve the financial condition of the power distribution companies.

Work plan is also being taken to provide 24-hour electricity to industries along with customers. For your information, let you know that the NPA in the power sector is close to 5.9 per cent. It is being said that minimizing the NPAs of the power sector will be a major goal of the government.

It is clear that there is a pressure to work on the Modi Government after landslide victory in the Lok Sabha Election. Looking at the people's expectations from the power constraints problem, the Modi Government wants to provide 24-hour electricity to everyone in the country. However, the Modi Government's plan is very good but it may have to face many problems and challenges to fulfill it. Now let's see how long the Modi Government can implement this scheme.
