Flag off ceremony of MANM Bikers to Spiti Valley held at TT Nagar Stadium

Bhopal, June 6 2019 (WTN): A mega bike rally event "KARAVAN- Suraksha Ka", to make people aware about drowning prevention and water safety starts for 3500 km journey from Bhopal today to Spiti Valley in Himachal Pradesh. Five Bike riders of Mandar and No More (MANM) Foundation will cover 7 states and more than 20 cities on their way, to spread the message of water safety. They will return Bhopal on 15th June.
 
The Flag off Ceremony of the rally held today morning 7 AM at Tatya Tope Stadium, near New Market, Bhopal. The Chief Guest of this flag off ceremony was Dr S.L.Thaosen, Director, Dept. of Sports and Youth Welfare, Govt of Madhya Pradesh. The flag-off was also done by Special Guests Dr. R. K. Nigam, Senior Advisor and Mentor, Rotary International District 3040 and Anubhav Dubey, Entrepreneur Co-Founder of the famous Chai Sutta Bar. The program was attended by many social workers and prominent citizens.
 


On this occasion Dr Thaosen said that such awareness programs really helps to spread awareness for our society to learn how to take prevention to save our life. MANM foundation great initiatives towards life safety from water bodies are appreciable and we should also enhance the safety measure on those places with the help of social organization as well as government department.
 
The bike rally will cover the cities Guna, Gwalior, Gurugram, New Delhi, Chandigarh, Shimla, Rekong Peo, Kaza Spiti Valley, Manali, Roorkee, Haridwar, Aligarh, Agra, Dhaulpur, Jhansi, Vidisha before returning to Bhopal.
 
Founder-Director of MANM  Vishwas Ghushe told that our aim is to make every section of society and every family about the magnitude of drowning deaths, as more than 35000 people die in India every year due to drowning. MANM Foundation works for making water bodies safer for public and promoting all kinds of measures to prevent drowning. Earlier a successful bike rally for awareness in Bhopal was carried out last month.- Window To News
