UNICEF delegation calls on CM; shares field experiences 

Bhopal, June 13 (WTN): Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Kamal Nath has laid stress on the need for the government, community and committed organizations like UNICEF to work jointly on issues related to violence, health and education of girls. Chief Minister was holding a discussion with a UNICEF delegation at the Mantralaya today.

During this discussion he said that more work on child rights is required to be done. Social media has changed the whole atmosphere. It should be used constructively to create awareness in girls. He said that it should be used in changing mentality towards daughters. Chief Minister also appraised the delegation of the efforts being made to remove malnutrition, give right to education and provide health facilities to the children.

Giving information about the field experiences of Indore and Badwani to the Kamal Nath, UNICEF Country Head Sushri Yasmin Ali Haque said that a good initiative has been taken for the health of newborns in the state. During this meet Sushri Haque, State Chief of Field Office Michael Juma, Chief of Field Service Sushri Jalpa Ratna and office bearers were present.- Window To News
