PM Modi's future 'strategy' through Deputy Speaker post of Lok Sabha

PM Modi can offer the post of Deputy Speaker to YSR Congress or BJD

JUNE 18 (WTN) - Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the national president of BJP Amit Shah are the leaders who do their politics by watching the future. Nowadays, one who makes the future plans is 'successful' in politics. Prime Minister Modi knows that there is a lot of 'expectations' from his government after the massive victory of the BJP in the Lok Sabha Elections this time. Modi also knows that in the Lok Sabha Elections of 2024, BJP will need some more supporters for the NDA. That is why, because first there will be the 10-year anti-incumbency wave. And second one is the JDU-like parties 'threat' of being away from the NDA. Modi also knows that in the Rajya Sabha, the government is not in a majority, in such a way, the peers may be required to pass several important bills.

In view of all these 'possibilities', Prime Minister Modi is making every possible effort to enhance the NDA family. In this regard, it is being said that Modi can offer the post of Deputy Speaker in the Lok Sabha to Jagan Mohan Reddy's YSR Congress (YSRCP) which has performed well in Andhra Pradesh in the Lok Sabha Election: or can offer to Naveen Patnaik's Biju Janata Dal.

In the first session of the new Lok Sabha which runs from June 17 to July 26, the Modi Government has to select Lok Sabha Speaker and Deputy Speaker. It is certain that BJP will hold the post of Lok Sabha Speaker. In this case, the NDA ally Shiv Sena is making a claim for the post of Lok Sabha Deputy Speaker. But if Prime Minister Modi plays 'political bets' like his first term, then like this last time, BJP could also give a post of Deputy Speaker to any party outside the NDA.

For your information, let you know that in the previous Lok Sabha, Prime Minister Modi had given the post of Lok Sabha Deputy Speaker to AIADMK while playing political bets. Let you know that the AIADMK was not a part of the NDA. Prime Minister Modi got this 'advantage' that on many important occasions the AIADMK was standing with the Modi Government. There was so much 'closeness' seen between the AIADMK and the NDA that the AIADMK contested the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections as part of the NDA.

This time Prime Minister Modi can offer the post of Deputy Speaker to YSR Congress or the BJD with the intention of increasing the NDA's family. For your information, let you know that in this Lok Sabha Election, Jagan Mohan Reddy's party YSR Congress has won 22 out of 25 seats in Andhra Pradesh. Under the political strategy, Modi can make the NDA ‘strong’ by offering YSR Congress to the post of Deputy Speaker. But this is not so easy, because Jagan Mohan Reddy can keep some conditions for the state of Andhra Pradesh before the Prime Minister Modi. In such a situation, in view of those demands' being impractical may be the YSR Congress Party stay away from the Deputy Speaker's post.

Modi can offer the post of Deputy Speaker, to the other party after YSR Congress, is Biju Janata Dal. For your information, let you know that till 2009, the BJD was a part of the NDA. This time, in the Lok Sabha Elections, the BJP has won in 8 out of 21 seats in the BJD stronghold state. However, Modi's best efforts are to get YSR Congress to get ready for the Deputy Speaker's post. That is why, because BJP needs a 'strong partner' in Andhra Pradesh. Following the TDP's 'marginalization', YSR Congress is the most powerful party in Andhra Pradesh.

Modi knows that in Andhra Pradesh, the BJP will take at least 10 years to get its 'mass base'. In such a situation, Modi will do his best to get support from the YSR Congress in the Rajya Sabha if the offer of post of Deputy Speaker will be accepted by YSR Congress. Modi knows that Jagan Mohan Reddy can be a 'trusted' partner in the coming future.

But BJD is the best option before Prime Minister Modi after YSR Congress’ 'No'. That is why, because, in the coming days, BJP may need BJD to pass some bills from the Rajya Sabha. It is being said that if the BJD is offered the post of Deputy Speaker, then Naveen Patnaik will not refuse this, because by doing so he can get the 'Great' package’ for state.

The BJP-led NDA Government has the absolute majority, and does not need the support of any party in the Lok Sabha. But in the Rajya Sabha, the NDA does not have a majority, so Modi would like to get support from the YSR Congress or the BJD in the Rajya Sabha by giving the post of Deputy Speaker. On the same pretext, there will be BJP's efforts to include these parties in the NDA so that NDA can be 'strong' in the coming times.
