Shivani Karale and Supriya Jatav won two silver medals for MP

Bhopal: June 20, 2019: Madhya Pradesh Martial Art Karate Academy's player Shivani Karale and Supriya Jatav sevured two silver medals in 68 and 61 kg group individually in women's category in National Senior Karate Championships held from 10th to 13th June, 2019 at the Talkatora Stadium in Delhi. Minister of sports and youth welfare Jitu Patwari praises and congratulates both of them for their spectacular performance. Director Sports and Youth Welfare Dr. S. L. Thousen also appreciate Shivani and Supriya Jatav for their performance in championship.

Previous Achievements of Supriya and Shivani

Extraordinary player of the Karate Academy, Supriya is the first Indian woman to win gold medal in the 8th and 9th Commonwealth Championships (2015 and 2018) and feel proud to state Madhya Pradesh. She also won bronze medal Commonwealth Karate championship in 2013 and Asian Championship Cup in 2014. In addition to that she secured gold medal for India in Silent Night Asian Karate Cup in 2018 and US Open karate championship in the year 2015, Supriya Jatav has been awarded with highest award of sports in MP Vikram Award.
Similarly, the Academy's Ekalavya Award awardee player Shivani Karale has also secured 4 bronze medals for India representing the Indian team in international competitions. She has also won 4 gold, one silver and three bronze medals in the Senior Karate Competition. Shivani has earned 17 gold medals in state level competitions.- Window To News
