The clearances for opening the grocery store and the restaurants to be reduced

JUNE 22 (WTN) - Following a fierce victory in the Lok Sabha Elections, Prime Minister Modi is in an attempt to reduce the hardships of the people of the country during his second term. Prime Minister Modi knows that there is lot of hope for the people with a full majority government, so Prime Minister Modi wants to give such relief to the people in the next five years, so that their problems can be reduced.

In his first tenure, Prime Minister Modi had advocated the elimination of many such laws which were unnecessary, and due to which the general public had to face difficulties without any reason. In this sequence, Prime Minister Modi is now in the process of reducing some business difficulties for businessmen in his second term.

As you know, if there is a grocery store or restaurant to open in India, then it has to take all kinds of clearances. In view of these difficulties and to relieve the small traders, the Modi Government is now contemplating reducing the number of clearances required to open a grocery store and a restaurant. For your information, let you know that at present 28 clearances are required to open a grocery store. The Government intends to start a single window system, to reduce these all types of clearances to help small businessmen find relief.

As we told you earlier, 28 clearances are required to open a grocery store right now. If you are going to open a grocery store, then you have to take approximately 28 permits from GST registration to shop opening license. At the same time, 17 clearances are required to open a restaurant; it needs from NOC of Fire Safety to FSSAI clearance.

Compared to other countries, a lot of clearances are required to open a grocery store or a restaurant in India. In countries such as China and Singapore, only 4 clearances are needed to open a restaurant. Therefore, doing business in these countries is considered easier than India. Looking at the situation of trade and traders in these countries, the Modi Government is trying to minimize the number of clearances to open a grocery store or a restaurant.

At the same time, the Department of Promotion of Industry and Retail Trade (DPIIT) is considering terminating the process of renewal for convenience of merchants. It is being said that the purpose behind all this is that by eliminating the process of reducing clearances and renewing the license will make it easier for small traders to do business.

In fact, it has been seen that traders have to make rounds of government offices to take all kinds of clearances. The merchants' timing also gets worse when it needs to be approved at the same time. Keeping in view of these problems of small traders, the Modi Government wants to reduce the unnecessary clearances to open a grocery shop or a restaurant and those are the necessary clearances, there will be no need to get them renewed. If the Modi Government does this, then it can be said that this will provide a lot of relief to small businessmen.
