In the last year general budget, the budget of several schemes for women was increased. However, the budget of some schemes was also reduced by the Modi Government. But finally in all the schemes of women, the budget was increased by 4 per cent.

Since this time a woman finance minister is presenting the budget, the women of the country have great hopes from Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The first demand of women is that the Finance Minister should give some more relief to working women. In the interim budget this year, the Modi Government has reduced the EPF for women from 12 per cent to 8 per cent.

In the interim budget all appreciated this step of the Modi Government, after which the Modi Government is expected to take some decisions to strengthen women financially by giving more relief in taxes to women in the full budget in its second term.

At the same time, women expect from the Finance Minister that she should give some relief to the women in the tax laws. Women are demanding that the limit of income tax exemption to women should be increased under 80C. It is being said that Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman can also give tax exemption to the amount spent by the women on the care facility of children.
