Instructions to explore land for industrial park around Dewas

 
Dewas, July 3: Public Works Minister Sajjan Singh Verma has said that there is a lot of scope of expansion of industrial sector in Dewas. He has instructed to search for land to set up an industrial park in the perimeter of 10-15 kilometers around Dewas. He has asked to withdraw nearly 100 acres of unused land from the closed units in the Dewas industrial area. Shri Verma was addressing a meeting related to industrial expansion in Dewas on Tuesday evening.
 
Minister Verma gave instructions for the posting of officer of Audyogik Kendra Vikas Nigam in Dewas district. He emphasized on the need to accelerate speed in the construction of the Mendhaki Road Railway Over Bridge in Dewas urban area. He also told to remove all obstacles in the construction work within time limit.
 
General Manager, Audyogik Kendra Vikas Nigam Kumar Purushottam said that industrial park will be developed in and around Dewas if 400 to 1000 acres of land is made available for industrial development. Information about the new policy for acquisition of land for the industries was given in the meeting. Collector Dr. Shrikant Pandey said that 47 acre land out of the total land allocated to Kirloskar Company for setting up industry, has been given to the Industries Department. Public Works Minister issued instructions to prepare a proposal of the proposed approach road costing of Rs 144 crores in Binjana.- Window To News
