Pay special attention to health, education and child welfare schemes: Governer
Governor Patel conducts review in Datia
July 4 2019: Governor of MP Anandiben Patel has said that special attention is needed for the implementation of health, education and child welfare schemes. She said that 100 percent target should be achieved in these schemes while addressing a meeting held in Datia today.
Schemes including Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana, Suraksha Bima, Jeevan-Jyoti, Sukanya Samriddhi, MUDRA, Pension, Ujjwala, Soubhagya Yojana of the Electricity Department, Pradhan Mantri Awas, Crop Insurance Scheme and Ayushman Yojana were reviewed. The Governor also instructed to minimize the number of school drop-outs. Collector Shri B. S. Jamod said that Datia has become the first district of the country for implementing the Prime Minister’s Crop Insurance Scheme. She also sought information about the implementation of Jai Kisan Crop Loan Waiver Scheme.
Serve public by becoming permanent members of Red Cross
Reviewing the activities of Red Cross, Governor said that Red Cross will organize more events like blood donation and eye camps. She told to generate maximum permanent memberships of Red Cross Society and serve the people. She laid emphasis on making special efforts for the welfare of children with Tuberculossis.- Window To News
