Rubina Francis to lead Indian team in Para Shooting Sports World Cup

Bhopal: July 09, 2019: MP Sports Academy player Rubina Francis will lead Indian Para sports team in World Shooting Para Sports World Cup to be held in Osijek, Croatia from July 22 to 31, 2019. Rubina is the only player from Madhya Pradesh in 11 players Indian team who has been selected for the World Shooting Para Sports World Cup. In the World Cup, Rubina will perform in Para 10 meter Air Pistol competition of Girls category. Earlier Rubina participated in National Training Camp organized by the Sports Authority of India in Delhi for preparations of the World Cup.

Sports and Youth Welfare Minister, Jitu Patwari has expressed his happiness on the selection of talented player Rubina Francis of the shooting academy and has given her best wishes to perform well in the World Shooting Para Sports World Cup. Director Sports and Youth Welfare Dr. S.L. Thousen also deliver his best wishes to Rubina.

It is notable that Rubina Francis has secured gold medal in the World Shooting Para Sports World Cup held in Bangkok in 2017 for India. He has also won 15 gold and 2 silver medals to the state of Madhya Pradesh in national championships. From the year 2017 she is going through training in state shooting academy under Jaspal Rana, Chief Instructor of the Shooting Academy and Assistant Trainer Jaywardhan Singh Chauhan.- Window To News
