The Government questions encircle Tik Tok App 

JULY 29 (WTN) - The Tik Tok App is a special choice for Indian people these days. There are near about 800 million users of Tik Tok in the whole world Chinese Company, and about 200 million users of Tik Tok in India. Let you know that Tik Tok App is very popular among from children to older. The Tik-Top App lets its users create and share short videos with music. Due to the easy features of the Tik Top App, this app has become very popular among the Indian people in a short span of time. But it has been noticed that some such videos are also being created on Tik Tok App whose content is obscene and illegal.

For your information, let you know that making videos containing illegal and obscene content on the Tik Tok platform is strictly forbidden. Following continuous complaints, the government has recently sought detailed information about the illegal content on Tik Tok. Let you know that according to the IT Act, 2000, Tik Tok is an intermediate.

In this context, non-statutory citations can be removed online under the IT Act. According to Section 79 of the IT Act, the intermediate will keep in mind that any kind of obscene, harmful or illegal content from their platform should not be spread. According to the law, whenever any illegal content is brought in the information to of the intermediary by the court or the government, then it is expected that they will remove the content.

For your information, let you know that Tik Tok App has deleted about 6 million videos from its platform for the alleged violation of pornographic content and policy violations. According to the Byte Dance, the official company of the Tik Tok App, the videos that were deleted were violating the guidelines of the Government of India and further, those who violate the Guidelines, videos will be deleted.

Earlier, the government had asked some more questions from Tik Tok which has been in the controversy. The government had asked Tik Tok that how is tracked that which content is objectionable? If any content is found objectionable, then how is it removed? What is the policy regarding the company's for minor users? The government had also asked Tik Tok about how the company collects data from users and where is it shared?

In relation to the privacy of Indian people, the government had questioned Tik Tok whether the data of Indian users being stored in China too? The government had asked Tik Tok to prevent the misuse of Indian data that how the company would assure that the data of Indian users would not be sold to a foreign government, a third party or a private entity in the future.

From time to time Tik Top App has been in disputes. The Madras High Court had temporarily imposed a ban on downloading the Tik Tok App just recently after a petition was filed against the Tik Tok app for promoting pornography. We advise you not to make any such video on Tik Tok App and do not share it whose content is illegal or otherwise obscene. If you do this, then legal action can be taken against you. Control your emotions while creating videos on Tik Tok, so that you can’t promote any kind of obscene and unlawful content from your created video.
