Joint Delegation of Officers-Employees’ organizations called on CM Kamal Nath

Expressed gratitude towards Chief Minister for taking decisions in employees’ welfare 
 
Bhopal 1 August [WTN] : The Chief Minister Kamal Nath said that the state government is committed to protect the interests of the employees. He mentioned that promises made in the manifesto for the employees will be fulfilled. Kamal Nath was holding discussions with a delegation of 24 organisations of employees and APAKS employees’ union at Mantralaya today. On the occasion, the organizations of the officers and employees expressed gratitude towards the Chief Minister that he has taken several decisions in the interests of the employees within a short period of just 8 months, which have benefitted all the employees. The Minister for Home Bala Bachchan was also present on the occasion.

The Chief Minister mentioned that the government employees do not belong to any political party, they work for the government. He stated that the government is sensitive towards the demands and aspirations of the government employees and will take their memorandum into consideration with utmost seriousness. Kamal Nath said that he will resolve the grievances by holding discussions with the representatives of the employees. He told the organizations of the officers and employees to present their representation by making separate points of their demands, so that immediate action could be taken.

The Chief Minister was apprised of the aspirations of the officers-employees’ organizations by the Minister for Public Relations P.C. Sharma. He said that the Chief Minister has made increase in the dearness allowance of the employees and pensioners and has developed a new culture in the governance and administration for the welfare of the employees. Sharma further stated that the way the Chief Minister has taken decisions promptly in the welfare of the employees, which highlights his willingness to solve every problem of the officers and employees.

Representatives of the employees-officers’ organization said that in the last eight months, the Kamal Nath government has fulfilled several demands which include the order to merge Adhyapak cadre into School Education Deaprtment. The sympathetic attitude of the government towards contractual workers is commendable.

Backward Class Sanyukt Sangharsh Morcha felicitates CM

On behalf of the Backward Classes Sangharsh Morcha, former mayor Vibha Patel honoured the Chief Minister Kamal Nath with a shawl, shriphal for granting 27 percent reservation to the Backward Class and presented a letter of felicitation. On this occasion, the Madhya Pradesh Scheduled Caste, Tribe, Backward Classes and Minority Officers-Employees Association (APAKS) handed over a memorandum to the Chief Minister regarding their demands.
