Neither Muslim countries nor China supports Pakistan on Kashmir issue

AUG 06 (WTN) - The decision that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken for Jammu-Kashmir showing strong will is historic in itself. As you know that the Government of India has abolished all sections except one section of Article 370, which gives special status to Jammu-Kashmir. Pakistan has raised the most objections to this decision of the Government of India. Pakistan, which has been on the verge of financial turmoil, requested the Muslim countries and its friendly countries to intervene on the internal issue of the Indian Government. But, Pakistan, who begs in form of the bailout package before the IMF, has been isolated on this issue.

It is well known that Kashmir is an ‘important part’ of India and the Government of India has the right to make any kind of law on it. The Government of India has the right to take the decision taken by the Government of India under the ambit of its sovereignty. But, Pakistan,  outstrip by India in every region, sought help worldwide on this issue. But, no one supported Pakistan. On the Jammu Kashmir issue, the Pakistan Foreign Ministry issued a statement saying, "India occupied Jammu and Kashmir is the internationally disputed area. Being a party to this international dispute, Pakistan will use every option to oppose this unfair step."

As you know that Pakistan was trying to raise the Kashmir issue repeatedly on the international stage, but now Islamabad has received a strong response. In Pakistan itself, questions are being raised on the Government of Pakistan that why the Director of Intelligence of Pakistan could not get a clue as to what the Indian Government is planning to do in Kashmir?

In fact, Pakistan can’t be firmly opposed to the decision of the Indian Government to split Jammu-Kashmir, because Pakistan separated the part of Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) into a Northern Area in 1970. Later in 2009, the immediate President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari changed the name of Northern Region to Gilgit-Baltistan. The Government of India has also taught Pakistan a vigorous lesson by separating Ladakh from Jammu-Kashmir and declaring it a Union Territory.

On the issue of Kashmir, no response has yet been reached on the end of Article 370 by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation with Pakistan. However, the Organization of Islamic Countries said on 4 August, "The worsening situation in India-occupied Jammu and Kashmir is worrisome." Even as a friend of Pakistan, China, which has drowned it in debt, has still remained silent on the issue. So silence of China on this whole issue is surprising, because the Indian Government has changed the status of Ladakh, while China maintains its claim on a large portion of Ladakh like Aksai Chin.

The US, by which help the poor people of Pakistan are getting the bread of two times, has considered the Indian Government's decision to terminate Article 370 as an internal matter of the Government of India. According to the US, "We have closely monitored the developments in Jammu and Kashmir. We take cognizance that the decision to change the constitutional status of Jammu and Kashmir has been strictly declared by India as an internal matter."

Pakistan, which has lost in every war with India, has got support in its anti-India campaign to Turkey. According to the information received from the media, Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan called President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and asked for help.  President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has assured of help to Pakistan on the changing situation in Indian Kashmir.

As you know, because of the diplomacy of the Modi Government, Pakistan is now being isolated at the international level. If Pakistan thinks that Muslim countries will support Pakistan in India's internal issues, then Pakistan is dreaming. If many Muslim countries, including Saudi Arabia, did not oppose China on inhuman atrocities with Uighur Muslims in China, then Muslim countries should hardly come against India on the internal issue of India.
