AUG 07 (WTN) - Almost every Indian has a smartphone nowadays. With the help of smartphone, many of those works have become much easier, for which you had to face a lot of trouble. As you know, to operate a smartphone, internet data is required. Data is received from the SIM for the smartphone or from Wi-Fi. Although, most people operate their smartphones only with the SIM data, but many people also use the Wi-Fi installed in the office or public places.

By the way, there is public Wi-Fi facility is available in many cities of the country. But, soon the number of public Wi-Fi hotspots in the country is going to increase. For your information, let you know that the Department of Telecommunications has instructed the telecom companies to increase the number of public hotspot to 10 lakh in the next 2 months.

In order to provide Wi-Fi in public places to the people of the country, the Department of Telecommunications has instructed the telecom companies to increase public hotspot. According to the telecom companies, there are around 4.5 lakh public hotspots in the country at present. In order to increase the number of public hotspots in the country, the Department of Telecommunications is preparing to change the license conditions for Wi-Fi portability. With this it is being said that there is a possibility of getting permission for infrastructure sharing to telecom companies.

Modi Government is working on opening a public Wi-Fi center in every village of the country so that public hotspot facility can be provided in villages also to make it easier for people to work online. It is being said that this facility will provide free Wi-Fi facility to the villages for one year. To achieve this target, three and a half lakh Common Service Centers spread across the country have been given the responsibility. For the convenience of the public, the Government will install 10 lakh Wi-Fi hotspots. At the same time, the Government will open a Wi-Fi office through common service centers.

As we told you that at present there are about 3.5 lakh common service centers in the country. To increase the number of service centers, the Government will come out with a tender of 4,000 crores, for which there will be an agreement in Bharat Net and service center. According to the information received from the media, the Department of Telecommunications may soon approve it. If this happens, it will be a special gift of the Modi Government to the people of the country.

As you know, many tasks sitting at home go online only with the help of smartphones nowadays. In such a situation, if the public of the country will get the facility of public Wi-Fi in public places, then this will not only cost less data of their SIM, but they will be able to take advantage of the facility of public Wi-Fi when the SIM data is exhausted.
