Inflation in Pakistan out of control, public outrage spread

AUG 10 (WTN) - It seems that the Imran Khan Government of Pakistan is becoming an enemy of the people of its own country. Today, Pakistan's economy is going through the worst phase ever due to the failed economic policies of the Government of Pakistan and the policy of promoting terrorism in India. The situation is that Pakistan had to take bailout package from International Monetary Fund (IMF) to manage the economy of the country.

The conditions of the IMF bailout package are so difficult that after its implementation, the inflation in Pakistan has reached at historic levels. But, despite all this, the Imran Khan Government of Pakistan is not deterring from promoting terrorist activities in India and interfering in the internal affairs of India.

As you know that since the Modi Government of India has removed Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan has been stunned. Pakistan has suspended trade relations with India interfering in India's internal affairs without thinking. Since this decision of the Pakistan Government, inflation in Pakistan has increased even more. Pakistan has imposed a complete ban on goods exported from India, after which tomato prices have reached up to Rs 300 per kg in Pakistan.

People of Pakistan are shocked after the sudden increase in prices of tomatoes. 300 rupees a kg of tomatoes is not less of a problem for the people of Pakistan already troubled by inflation. According to experts, this is just the beginning. In the coming days, if Pakistan keeps India's exports suspended, then vegetables, fruits and other items other than tomatoes will be quite expensive in Pakistan.

For your information, let you know that before suspending business relations from India, green vegetables including tomatoes used to go to Pakistan everyday from India, due to which their prices were controlled in Pakistan. But, since the last few days when Pakistan has suspended trade with India, since then prices of other vegetables including tomatoes are increasing in Pakistan.

The increase in the prices of other vegetables, including tomatoes, clearly shows that the people of Pakistan have to bear the entire cost of suspending business relations with India. Talk about mainly tomatoes, there is a lot of demand for Indian tomatoes in Pakistan. But, after the decision of the Government of Pakistan to suspend trade with India, now the supply of tomatoes from India to Pakistan has stopped, after which the price of tomatoes in Pakistan has reached up to Rs 300 per kg.

As you know, India is the 7th largest economic superpower in the world. India's imports and exports with Pakistan are very low. This is so low that India will not have much impact due to the suspension of imports and exports with Pakistan, but this may cause a lot of damage to Pakistan. Let you know that Pakistan is under the misconception that by suspending trade with India, Indian businessmen will suffer losses, so it’s an unwise of the Pakistan Government.

In fact, if the Government of Pakistan feels that suspending trade from India will harm farmers, truck operators and other traders along the Attari border, then it is their biggest foolery. That is why, because if the supply of other vegetables including tomatoes in Pakistan is stopped from India, then their prices will go out of control in Pakistan and the public will get upset. The remaining Attari border traders, farmers and truck operators will do their business in other parts of India.

For your information, let you know that earlier when there was Pulwama terror attack, then the Government of India done an air strike in Balakot situated in PoK to eliminate the hidden terrorists; the Government of India at that time suspended the trade from Pakistan. After this decision of the Government of India, there was a huge increase in the prices of other vegetables including tomatoes in Pakistan, after which the people of Pakistan and the media started questing to the Imran Khan Government of Pakistan there.

Now, it has to be seen how long the Imran Khan Government will withdraw the decision to end its trade relations with India which was taken in the senselessness, because if the Imran Khan Government did not do so, then the people of Pakistan would be hard to live because of inflation. If there is no control over inflation in Pakistan in the mean time, then the people there can open a front against the Government of Pakistan in collaboration with traders.
