Cambodia has influenced me, trip to here is awakening – Anjila Jolie !

"First They Killed My Father" is based on the autobiography by Cambodian human-rights activist Loung Ung, a friend of Anjila Jolie's. The memoir tells the true story of the devastation inflicted on Cambodia by the Khmer Rouge communist party in the 1970s. The book is being adapted as a movie for Netflix by Angelina Jolie.
 
This is the project which kept Jolie busy and away for the worries in personal life. In an interview with BBC she broke up her silence sinking in to tears. In interview speaking on “first they killed my father”, politics, Cambodia to her life during divorce she broke down in tears. She said she hoped the film, which she directed, would help Cambodians to speak more openly about the trauma of the period.
 



 
Two million people died. On personal fron she said ‘"It was very difficult,"  "Many people find themselves in this situation. My whole family has all been through a difficult time. My focus is my children, our children.
"We are and forever will be a family and so that is how I am coping. I am coping with finding a way through to make sure that this somehow makes us stronger and closer."
She also describe Cambodia has influenced her ,Her first trip to here was awakening and later I adopted my son Maddox.
