The People's University celebrates Teachers’ Day by honoring teachers

SEP 05 (WTN) – Knowledge can’t be imagined without a teacher. It is from the education received by the teacher that a man progresses on the path of life. A teacher means that teach us right and wrong, and by getting this education, his disciples achieve new heights. To honor the incredible contribution of teachers, Teachers’ Day program was organized on the occasion of Teachers’ Day at the People's University in Bhopal.

On the occasion of Teachers' Day program, Megha Vijaywargia, Trustee and Director of the Peoples University, Dr. Rajesh Kapoor, Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. V.K. Pandaya, Director (Academic) of the University, Dr. Neeraja Mallick, Registrar of the University including University deans, teachers, students and staff were present in the program. The program started with lighting the lamp before Goddess Saraswati.



In the program organized on the occasion of Teachers' Day at the People's University, under the banner of ‘SPIC MACAY’, the famous Khan and Group of Rajasthan mesmerized everyone by presenting a spectacular program of folk songs. Khan & Group tied everyone in the auditorium by singing melodious folk songs.

In the program organized on Teachers' Day, Dr. Chhaya Budhwani, working for the last 14 years at People's Hospital, was honored for her commendable contribution. Here, Megha Vijaywargia, Trustee and Director of the Peoples University, Dr. Rajesh Kapoor, Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. VK Pandaya, Director (Academic) of the University and Dr. Neerja Mallick, Registrar of the University honored outstanding teachers working in the institutions related to the Peoples University.
 
The teachers to have been honored were Major (Rita.) Dr. V.K. Yadav (People's College of Medical Sciences and RC), Dr. Shreyans Damde (People's College of Dental Sciences and RC), Dr. Ajay Pillai (People's Dental Academy), Dr. Alka Singh (School of Pharmacy and Research), Dr. Abhilasha Jain (People's Institute of Management and Research),Adil Khan (People's Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology), Rukmani Malviya (People's College of Nursing Sciences and RC), Pawan Patil (School of Research and Technology), Captain Summi Chaudhary (NCC Officer, People's University).
  
Addressing the program, Dr. Rajesh Kapoor, Vice Chancellor of People's University said, “A teacher teaches his students on the Black and White Board, but colors their lives with the colors of successes.” Dr. Kapoor said that in the true sense, teachers are the other parents of the students, just as parents teach their children right and wrong in the home; teachers educate children in school-college outside the home.

Here, students and teachers won the hearts of all by presenting colorful songs and dance in a spectacular program organized on Teachers' Day in the People's University auditorium. Ganapati Group Dance gave a banging performance of 'Ganpati Bappa Morya', which was attended by Shalini Pateria, Swahi Singh, Sonali Patel, Suman Kushwaha, Richa Rani, Preeti Yadav, Aarti Dhiman and Payal Gwalvanshi.
 
At the same time, Priyanka Sarma performed Bihu dance with her partner. Kajol Kanwar, Prateek Singh, Shubhangi Chaurasia, Anna Ruth Thomas, Vikas Gupta, Ram Raj, Ayushi Mahajan, Mansi Jain, Nancy Singh, Sanjana Soni, Ananya Singh, Archana Gurnani, Riddhi Limaye, Jenna Khan, Preetisha Tiwari, Shravani Kashyap and Akanksha Pawar danced on the song 'Ladki Badi Anjani Hai' and tied everyone by their performance.

 

While Dr. Uttara Gupta sang a solo song, Tarun Kumar and Anjali Rajput won the hearts of the people by singing a duet. In the program, Shweta Singh and Pinky Pandey performed a beautiful dance on the song 'Tumari Adaon Pe Mein Wari Wari'. Dr. Trupti Soni presented a beautiful solo dance and forced everyone for applauding in the program.

 

The program featured a spectacular dance skit by Divya Singh, Manusha Majoka, Nishi Sharma, Sukriti Jha, Nidhi Barwal and Shrishti Srivastava; in this performance they showcased the performances of teachers through Bollywood songs. The program was anchored by Pooja Agarwal and Elena Irshad. The brilliant performances of the students and teachers were judged by Dr. Shivangi Maske, Akhilesh Mittal and Mamta Mathur, after which the names of the winners were announced.
