Modi Government's idea to create a multipurpose identity card

SEP 24 (WTN) - If we tell you that you will not need to keep many different identity cards such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, driving license and passport separately in the coming time, and all these identity cards may be included in the multipurpose identity card, then after reading this; you must have wondered what is going to happen in the future? In fact, the Modi Government is contemplating a historic scheme in the country. If the scheme is implemented, then all the identity cards like Aadhaar card, passport, driving license and voter card can be integrated into a multipurpose identity card. After all what is this whole plan? Let us explain this in detail.

As you know, the census of the country is going to happen in the year 2021. The census of any country is a very large and strong basis for making plans for the future development of that country. The census in India started at the time of the British in the year 1865, after which the census going to be held in the year 2021, which is going to be the 16th census of India. The biggest feature of this time census is that this time census is going to be done digitally, not on paper.

This time a mobile app will be used for the census, in which data will be available in a digital way. According to the country's Home Minister Amit Shah, the census will be done minutely this time and it is going to be done the first time. The government claims that the census to be done minutely will be able to accurately know the economic and social reality of the country. Based on these data obtained from the census, it will help in making future plans of the country.

In fact, the Modi Government has been putting a lot of emphasis on digitization since its first term. The Modi Government says that the government is drawing 22 schemes on the basis of census, in which the use of Aadhaar card is quite beneficial. This time the census will be done digitally, the information of all the identity cards including Aadhaar card, PAN card, bank account, driving license, will be saved in one place. However, instead of all types of cards, one multi-purpose card scheme is being considered and no law or act has been made for this.

On the basis of digital census, Home Minister Amit Shah has proposed the idea of a multi-purpose identity card for all the citizens of the country, which will have all the facilities like Aadhaar card, passport, driving license and bank account. The government argues that the digitalization of the census will bring the scheme of multi-purpose card scheme instead of all cards to the ground. In order to bring this ambitious plan to the ground, the Modi Government is going to spend the most in this census compared to all time censuses. According to the information, about 12,000 crore rupees are going to be spent in the census this time.

The government claims that the digital data of the census will be available due to the digital census, which can be used for many types of analysis. The government says that the digitization of the census will bring many benefits to the people of the country. According to the government, this will help the government in resolving other issues related to the National Population Register (NPR).

The Modi Government is going to start the National Population Register (NPR) for the first time in the 2021 census. The government claims that NPR will prove to be a game-changer in the country. Well, for your information, let us know that there are many benefits of digital census. For example, if a child is born and does not die till the age of 18, then his voter ID card will be created without applying. And if the voter ID card is not issued, then he will get the right to vote.

It can be said that if this ambitious plan of the Modi Government is implemented, it will have far-reaching consequences. As you know, the country has been troubled by the problem of intruders for years. With the creation of National Population Register (NPR), the government will be able to identify the intruders. At the same time, due to the digital census, many types of data will be available with the government, which can be used to make policies. Now it has to be seen what step the Modi Government takes in the direction of multi-purpose identity card after digital census?
