Modi Government going to give the middle class 'gift'

NOV 20 (WTN) - By winning the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Narendra Modi has proved that how big a strategist he is of politics. In both the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP had won an absolute majority on its own, and the entire opposition including Congress had swept away. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had gained public confidence in both elections and won such a huge victory on the basis of intense nationalism. But Modi, a political expert, knows that winning the election is a different matter and to win the trust of the public after victory is a different matter. For this reason, Prime Minister Modi, in his current tenure, is trying to do such things that should be in the public interest.

The people of any country expect the government of their country to meet their health-related needs. That is the demand of the public is that their health facilities can be easily available immediately and at the lowest price. As you know, a common middle-class man spends most of the money on treatment. For the people living below the poverty line, many schemes are being run by the governments. But for the middle-class people, neither a proper public health care cover scheme is available from the government nor is their financial position strong that they can get their treatment in a big hospital in major illness.

As you know, the middle class of India is the largest middle class in the world. At the same time, this middle class plays a very big role in forming a government in India. According to political experts, this middle class has played a big role in the BJP's victory in the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Now, in order to facilitate this middle class and keep this big vote bank on its side, the Modi Government is preparing to give them a big gift. According to the information, the Modi Government is going to provide public health care coverage for the middle class for the first time.

For your information, let us know that this system of health care will be for those who have not yet come under the purview of any public healthcare system. According to the information received from the media, the draft of this scheme has been prepared by NITI Aayog. This new health system will not include those who are not covered by the Ayushman Bharat Scheme. As you know that the benefit of Ayushman Bharat Scheme is given to those poor people who are not in a position to take any health insurance plan themselves. For your information, let us know that under the Modi Government's ambitious Jan Arogya Yojana (Ayushman Bharat), about 40 percent of the total population of the country is being covered and in this, the poor get insurance up to Rs 5 lakh.

According to statistics, about 50 percent of the country's population is still not connected to any public health system. In view of this, the Modi Government is preparing such a system for such people by taking a nominal amount from them, so that the health-related needs of the middle-class people can be met. It is being said that according to this scheme of the Modi Government, middle-class people may have to pay 200 to 300 rupees for providing better public health care coverage in this scheme, which is not much money for them. Till now the governments have no such plan for middle-class people. In such a situation, this initiative of the Modi Government will be the first time in the country, when middle-class people will be able to avail of public health care coverage under any government scheme.
