Not only this, but people are also very active on social media sites nowadays for entertainment and time pass.

But do you know that because of your presence on the Internet in some form or the other, your personal and bank-related data remains on it, and if you show greediness or do a mistake or show negligence then your data could be breached or stolen, and if your data is breached or stolen then you may have to face mental and financial troubles. Yes, these days the most valuable thing is your data for you. If the hackers stole your data or then gave your data to someone without your knowledge, then you may face a lot of problems.

For your information, let us tell you that hackers have created problems before them by stealing data from millions of people all over the world. According to cybercrime experts, hackers wait for the mistake and negligence of the users for data theft that hackers steal the data as soon as there is any mistake or negligence by the users.

As far as India is concerned, due to hackers in India alone, banks have lost thousands of crores of rupees through banking fraud. At the same time, hackers can hack social media sites and apps to know about the users' personal information, their calls and chats history, which can prove to be very harmful to the users.

After the ever-increasing complaints of data theft, the Modi Government has now taken a big step for data protection. In view of this, the Modi Government has approved the Data Protection Bill. This bill, designed to protect users 'data, provides for the protection of users' personal information on social sites and apps.

As you know, the government has taken this big step after the opposition had made a lot of allegations on WhatsApp in the past, after the dent in data security. For your information, let us know that there was a lot of ruckus after the WhatsApp spying case, after which the Modi Government said that the government respects the privacy of everyone and takes it seriously and the confidentiality of information is also a part of it.

According to the Modi Government, the Data Protection Bill has tried to take full care of the privacy of users. According to the draft of the proposed bill which the government has put on its website, the responsibility of the right and transparent use of private data of the common people has been entrusted to the government and private agencies, which use the data. If for any reason, its data is passed on to someone without the knowledge of the users or it is stolen, then a penalty provision has been made for this situation. In case of any such mistake, both the government and private agencies will have to pay a fine of Rs 15 crore.

The bill also provides for the creation of a Data Protection Authority to ensure that users' data is used properly. In order to ensure that there is no deficiency in the bill and a strong bill can be made, this new law has been made after reviewing the laws related to all country's data protection laws. For information, let us know that many inputs have been taken in this bill from the data protection law of Europe.

For your information, let us know that most of the focus in the proposed bill has been on taking the consent of the users in sharing the data. Several provisions have been made in this bill to share data only with the consent of the users. The bill clearly states that if the data is taken or shared without anyone's permission, it would be a legal offense to do so. Now it has to be seen how much the data of the users is protected by this strict law being brought by the government for data protection. Actually, data protection has become the biggest need for today, because if a person's data gets in the wrong hands, then he can face many problems. It is to be hoped that the responsibility of keeping the data of the users completely safe in this new bill will keep the data of the users safe.
