Know how to create a virtual card of SBI?

JAN 26 (WTN) - In this era of technology, you must have been using net banking, credit or debit card and UPI payment option. On the other hand, if you use them, you sometimes need a credit or debit card. But many times you forget the card at home or there is a risk of lost or stolen card. In such a situation, State Bank of India, the largest bank in the country, has launched the facility of the virtual cards for the safety and convenience of its consumers. The SBI claims that customers will no longer need plastic cards for online shopping using virtual cards.

Actually, there will be no fear of loss or theft of this card by using a virtual card, so that no one can use it without your permission. SBI claims that all the features of plastic cards will be available in this new virtual card. What is this virtual card and what are its features? With the help of SBI's virtual card, consumers will be able to hide information about their account details, and this will reduce the possibility of any kind of fraud. Explain that the validity of the virtual card will be only 48 hours and this card can be used within the time period. If any consumer of SBI wants to create this virtual card and make transactions through it, both these processes can be done only with the help of OTP, and this OTP will come only on the registered mobile number of the subscriber.
 
For your information, let us know that for SBI's virtual card, the minimum transaction limit has been fixed at Rs 100 and the maximum transaction limit is Rs 50,000. The SBI virtual card can be used on an online merchant site, but let you know that it can be used only where Visa cards are accepted. Not only this, SBI's virtual card can only be used once. That is, after the transaction, you will not be able to use this virtual card again.
 
If you also want to use the virtual card of SBI, then for this you will have to log in to the banking portal of the SBI. After logging into the banking portal of SBI, you will see the option of 'e-Card' in the top bar of the website, on which you will have to click. After clicking on 'e-Card', you will have many options on the screen, from which you will have to click on the 'generate virtual card' tab. After clicking 'generate virtual card', you have to choose the amount that you want to transfer to the virtual card.
 
After transferring the account, you will need to click on the ‘Generate’ option after accepting the terms and conditions. After clicking ‘Generate’, you will have to verify the cardholder's name, debit card account number and virtual card limit. After doing this whole process, an OTP will appear on your registered mobile number. After filling this OTP and clicking on the Confirm button, information such as card number, expiry date, etc. will appear on your screen along with the card number. In this way, your virtual card will be created and you can use it during online shopping.
