Jio again achieves the top position in download speed, whereas Vodafone on the top in upload speed

FEB 14 (WTN) - There was a time when an Indian mobile phone consumer used to spend around Rs 300 for just 2 GB of data in a month. Mobile phone users, at that time, used mobile data very thoughtfully. At the same time, the calling tariff was also very high, due to people used to call economically. But since Reliance Jio's entry into the Indian telecom sector, all equations changed overnight. Free calling to cheap data on any network brought a new revolution in the Indian telecom sector.

For your information, let us know that there are about 35 crore users of Jio at present, and the number of Jio users are increasing day by day. But even after increasing the number of users, Jio is trying to give the standard facility to its users. And this is the reason; Jio continues to maintain its relevance among mobile phone users. Jio is trying its best to provide cheap data to its users at high speed.

In this context, for your information, let us know that according to the TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India), in case of 4G download speed with 20.9 Mbps speed, Reliance Jio once again remained at the top in the month of January compared to other network companies. At the same time, Vodafone got the first position in terms of speed of 4G upload. Although Reliance Jio has seen a decrease in the download speed as compared to the previous time, it still remains at the top as compared to other telecom companies. Let you know that compared to Jio's biggest competitor Airtel, the download speed of Jio was almost two and a half times higher.

According to the TRAI, the average 4G download speed of the Bharti Airtel network was 7.9 Mbps, while Vodafone's speed was 7.6 Mbps, and the Idea's speed was 6.5 Mbps. For your information, let us know that the average speed of download and upload of telecom companies is derived every month based on the data collected by the TRAI by ‘My Speed’ application on a real-time basis from all over the country.

As you know, two big telecom companies Vodafone and Idea had merged to compete with Reliance Jio, but TRAI had measured the figures of these two separately because the integration of the network of both companies is still going on. Let us know that Vodafone was at number one in the month of January in terms of upload speed. According to the TRAI, Vodafone is followed by Idea, Reliance Jio and Airtel in upload speed.

For information, let us know that when the download speed is good, users are able to access any content quickly and in a good way, that is, they can instantly open any text or video message arrives. At the same time, due to good upload speed, e-mail, text or video messages are shared easily and quickly. So you have seen that despite having 35 million users, Jio is trying its best to give to the users faster download speed, so that they can use the Internet properly.
