Rationalization of Surplus Teachers of Government Schools to be Done in Stipulated Time
Bhopal: Minister for School Education Kunwar Vijay Shah said that in order to make proper teaching arrangements in government schools for the academic session 2017-18, rationalization of surplus teachers should be completed within stipulated time. He told the officials to adopt transparency in this matter. Kunwar Shah was addressing the Advisory Committee meeting of the department today. Minister of State for School Education Deepak Joshi, Members Chander Singh Sisodia, Arun Bhimavad and Sanjay Shah were present in the meeting. It was informed in the meeting that there are 27 thousand surplus teachers in government primary schools.
Members of the Committee suggested that help from urban and panchayat bodies should be taken for toilets and other basic facilities in government schools. Full utilization of schools surcharge should be made. It was decided in the meeting that one school from each block will be selected as a pilot project for use of solar energy in schools. Moreover, a meeting should be held in at least one division in three months necessarily in the presence of Minister to monitor education system in schools. Also, local MLAs should be invited in the meeting. Directives were issued that local public representatives should be informed necessarily about the sanctions given at the state government level regarding education system.
Secretary School Education Smt. Deepti Gour Mukherjee, Commissioner Public Instructions Neeraj Dubey, Commissioner State Education Center Lokesh Jatav and officers of the department were present in the meeting.-WTN
