Sama Pulao - Navratri Special

Ingredient:

200 gm - Sama Rice
2-3 - Potato
1 - Chopped, Tomato
RockSalt - to taste
Oil/ghee
1 tsp - Cumin Seeds
2- Cloves
Black pepper
2 - Green Chilli, chopped
8-10 - Cashews
Water
Coriander leaves

Method: 
Soak sama rice in a bowl with required water for about 20-30 minutes. Meanwhile peel and dice the potato and carrot.

In a Pressure cooker, heat oil and add cumin seeds, cloves and black pepper. Saute them for a seconds.

Add chopped green chilli and cashew nuts and fry them until light brown.
Now add potato , tomatoes and saute for 2-3 minutes.
Then add soaked sama rice , salt and water as required.

Close the lid and cook till 1 - 2 whistle or for 10-15 minutes on low flame.
Garnish with coriander leaves.

Serve hot and enjoy the dish!!!
