Chief Minister gives Sops worth Rs 32 crore to Umaria Town

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan performed bhoomi-pujan for different works worth Rs 32 crore under municipality in Umaria. The works including boundary wall construction at a graveyard, pond deepening and beautification, town hall, kanji house, cowshed, boundary wall construction of a park. District in-charge minister  Omprakash Dhruve, minister for scheduled caste and scheduled tribe welfare Gyan Singh, MLA  Meena Singh and Municipality President Kanchan Khattar were present in the programme.

Chief Minister Chouhan was feted by Muslim, Kaul and Vishwakara communities.  Chouhan said Madhya Pradesh is a peaceful place. Every landless poor person will be given a piece of land with ownership rights, so that they can construct their house. The Chief Minister said that Nikah Yojana with Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana and facility to offer holy sheet to Ajmer Sharif under Tirth Darshan Yojana were launched to remove disparity. He said, the government is committed to give equal respect to all religions.

Chouhan said that festivals of all religions are celebrated at Chief Minister’s residence with equal fervor and gaiety.

Announcing to upgrade district hospital from 100-bed to 300-bed, the Chief Minister also announced to fill vacancies of doctors, paramedical staff, upgrade high schools of Lalpur, Khalesar and Vikatganj, provide resources for promotion of hockey, boundary wall constructions at Manpur, Chandia and Umaria graveyards.

The Chief Minister said that medical colleges are being opened in Shahdol and Sagar. Services of doctors passing-out from the medical colleges will be taken in hospitals. Now there will be seven medical colleges in the state.

MP Govt to felicitate Shera Bhai

Chief Minister Chouhan announced to felicitate Shera Bhai Jaan on January 26 by the state government. The Chief Minister said that he suffered pulling of arm vein during Jan Darshan programme in Anooppur. Someone advised to call Sherabhai. The Chief Minister agreed to call him. Sherabhai Jaan removed the pain as he touched the hand by God’s bless.

Shera Bhai Jaan is a personality in Umaria, people from across the country visit him, with pain and return with happy and smiling face. Shera Bhai Jaan is providing his services without any charge. He benefited thousands of people and every community in the district respects him.-WTN
