Subject experts to give lecture on increasing job opportunities at Global Skill Summit

Discussion in six sessions in Summit  

Bhopal: Global Skill and Employment Partnership Summit is going to be held at Hotel Amer Green situated on Hoshangabad Road on June 1 in Bhopal. All preparations are being done for this. There will be six seminars in the summit in which subject experts will give lecture on increasing opportunities. The inaugural session in the summit will be at 9.30 a.m. Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajiv Pratap Rudy will be present as the chief guest. The inaugural session will be presided over by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. At least 1500 participants will be present from all over the country and abroad at the summit.

Registration through website

So far 2578 registrations have been done through website at the Global Skill and Employment Partnership Summit. In this 527 companies have got 3 lakh 52 thousand and 295 persons registered to make employment available to them under Intention to Employ and 332 companies have got 2 lakh 96 thousand and 129 youths registered to provide skill development under Intention to Skill.

Discussion in 6 sessions

There will be six sessions during Global Skill and Employment Partnership Summit. In the session on “Skill development and employment opportunities in manufacturing sector” Industry and Employment Minister Rajendra Shukla will put forth his views. Former Chief Secretary Antony de Sa will also address the session. Subject experts and Udyog Sangh office-bearers will reply to the questions raised at the session.

Higher Education Minister Jaibhan Singh Pawaiyya will address the summit on “Employment opportunities through Higher Education”. Principal Secretary Higher Education Ashish Upadhyay will address on the subject “Scenario of Higher Education in Madhya Pradesh”. Principal Secretary Medical Education Smt. Gauri Singh and subject experts will reply to the queries of the participants. Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Sanjay-Satyendra Pathak will present his views on “Employment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh” at the summit. Principal Secretary Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department V.L. Kantarao will give a presentation on possibilities of employment in the state. Participants will be imparted information on the role of bank and financial institutions in facilitating self-employment.

In the next session of the summit, Principal Secretary Technical Education and Skill Development Smt. Kalpana Shrivastava will give a presentation on “Employment opportunities through skill enhancement in youths”. Minister of State for Technical Education Deepak Joshi will also give his address in the session.

There will be a speech by Woman and Child Development Minister Smt. Archana Chitnis on skill enhancement of women. Principal Secretary Women and Child Development J.N Kansotia will give presentation on employment opportunities for women in the state. Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Tourism Surendra Patwa will speak on “Skill development in tourism sector”. Tourism Development Corporation Chairman Tapan Bhowmick will present his views on tourism possibilities in state. Subject experts will answer the queries of the participants also during the session. The concluding session of the summit will be organized after six sessions.-WTN
