Why Chitrangada Quit "Babumoshai Bandookbaaz"? – Director's version!
Very rare to be seen any actor quits movie amid due to inconvenience, however, this has happened recently between the actress in lead and director of the movie “Babumoshai Bandookbaaz”.
Chitrangada the actress resigned the movie as she mentions the scenes were too intimate and she was not comfortable in doing them with the actor in action playing as the sharp shooter in the movie, Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
Now during the trailer release the director of the movie Babumoshai Kushan Nandy has given the version of the story, and as per him, Chitrangada has not mentioned the true reason. Kushan during the trailer launch told that ”There were multiple issues with her, she had my script with her from one and a half year. The script was in detail it had everything specified and even then if someone has any problem I can't force anyone”, the director doesn’t stop here he further said, intimate scenes were not the reason for her leaving the midway, as she already shot it. She had issues with the script and wanted the certain thing to be changed which I was not agreed to. Starting from scratch, Actress Bidita Bag know for her acts in socio-political movies replaced Chitrangda and will be seen in the movie. At the trailer release, Bidita said I was waiting for such opportunity and I am thankful to Chitrangda for leaving the film, ooh - bit harsh comment for Chitrangda, however Kushal Nandi and Nawazuddin are that bit of mixture which cannot be understated by the audience and movie will rule the Boxoffice well one can say .-Window To News
