More than Average Rainfall in 4 Districts and Average Rainfall in 26 Districts

Bhopal: From June 1 to August 11 , twenty percent more than average rainfall has been recorded in 4 districts of Madhya Pradesh during the monsoon season this year. There are 26 districts of the state where average rainfall has been recorded. Moreover, less rainfall has been recorded in 21 districts till date. The 556.5 m.m. average rainfall more than the normal average rainfall 484.0 m.m. has been recorded till date.

Districts where more than the average rainfall has been recorded include Katni, Rewa, Jhabua and Neemuch.

Similarly districts which have recorded average rainfall include Jabalpur, Sagar, Panna, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Singrauli, Sidhi, Satna, Indore, Alirajpur, Khargone, Badwani, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Ujjain, Mandsaur, Ratlam, Agar-Malwa, Bhind, Guna, Datia, Sehore, Raisen, Vidisha, Rajgarh and Hoshangabad.

Whereas less rainfall has been recorded in Balaghat, Chhindwara, Seoni, Mandla, Dindori, Narsinghpur, Damoh, Shahdol, Anuppur, Umaria, Dhar, Dewas, Shajapur, Morena, Sheopur, Gwalior, Shivpuri, Ashoknagar, Bhopal, Harda and Betul districts.-WTN
