MUDRA camps to be organized for self-employment schemes in Indore and Bhopal

Chief Secretary reviews arrangements in camp
Bhopal: Camps will be organized for approval of loans under Swarozgar Yojana at MUDRA camps to be organized at Indore and Bhopal in the month of October. Loans given by banks under Swarozgar Yojana in Madhya Pradesh will be granted approval in these camps. Chief Secretary Basant Pratap Singh today reviewed the preparations of the camp along with officials of various departments at the Mantralaya.
The Chief Secretary instructed departmental officers to prepare Swarozgar Yojana cases after better coordination with nationalized banks. He told them to ensure widespread publicity of the camps. The MUDRA camps will be held in Indore on October 5 and on October 10 at Bhopal. Stories of successful entrepreneurs in MUDRA and Standup India will be displayed at the camp. Participants will be given information on procedure of downloading Bhim app on mobiles. They will also be told about the process of digital payment being run in the National Digital Payment Mission. Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana registration will also be done at the camps. Instructions have been given to invite public representatives to the camp.
Micro Units Development and Refinance Agencies Limited (MUDRA) is an institute constituted by the Centre. MUDRA aims to help individuals from small business sector through financial institutions. Rs 50,000 to Rs 10 lakhs financial assistance can be obtained through MUDRA loans. MUDRA loan focuses on large-scale business rather than small and micro level business. Interest rate on MUDRA loan is very low and cheap. Office-bearers of State level Bankers Committee were also present during the meeting.-WTN
